Ceramic Heads

 Pots were made with Flax Paper Clay, bisque fired & painted with tempera paint. Mustard & Cress were grown in the hollow of each head.

Boids

After looking at the amazingly inventive and funny drawings in Ralph Steadman's book of 'Extinct Boids'  the children had to invent their own 'Boid' complete with name and strange habits. They were able to use, oil pastels, conte crayon and watercolours, but unfortunately not Indian ink, as I could not risk the extreme mess it might ppossibly cause on tables floors and not least the children!
